I hope that I have got this right!

Tony Blair, (sshshshshsh), our esteemed Prime Minister, allocated a few millions to enhance the lives of 'disadvantaged' areas.

Some of these millions were allocated to our area for improvement schemes. Interlock, our local organisation, applied for a grant, and, with the help of the 'Millennium Youth Volunteers', did a prestigious job of 'flowerising' our scheme. The helpers ages ranged from about ten years to over eighty!

The main group of young people were from the Northlands Youth Council, and they did a grand job.

Basildon District Council supplied the hanging baskets and tubs.

Our social club provided refreshments for the workers.
