MEETING ON 26/10/99

This was the meeting at which Bob and Johnston should have faced their disciplinary process. At the previous meeting it had been decided that Bob should be called before the committee, and a letter was sent to Bob confirming that. When the minutes of that meeting were read no mention was made of the incident. THE MINUTES HAD BEEN DOCTORED!

Also no record was made of my complaint of Johnston. The committee is a right carve up.

The secretary is just a little **** who does what he is told. Why the hell was I so affected by his phone call? I'm just easily hurt.

The really funny bit was when another disciplinary matter was discussed. On the previous Saturday evening a member threatened the artist for playing too loud. A lot of discussion ensued. And!! Do you know what??!! It was decided not to sent him a letter, or bar him. Someone would see him and gently tell him that he had been a naughty boy!

In my complaint about Johnston, in my letter, and my complaint made on the night, I suggested that that was what needed to be done. But! Oh, no a letter had to be sent, and Bob barred.

To cap it all, it was said by several members, that the offender should have spoken to the duty steward about his complaint. BUT, THE STUPID Johnston didn't do that, and he's a committee member.

What a load of crackpots they are!

I have gone back and highlighted the references above.

BOB STARTS TO TRY TO GET JUSTICE

1/11/99

The Royal British Legion Club

Dear Sirs,

I attended the club committee meeting on Tuesday 26th. Believing that my complaint against Mr. Johnston was going to be dealt with.

Nothing was said. The whole thing was ignored. I was hoping that I would get an apology from Mr. Johnson for his threatening me and assaulting me. Not getting any mention of Mr. Johnston's breaking of the club rules made me very angry. His assault was not even mentioned in the last minutes.

I want a written apology from Mr. Johnston for his very serious assault upon my person and for depriving me of the use of the club what I had pay for.

I do not blame the club for any of this. Mr. Johnston was acting as a member of the public when he assaulted me not as a representative of the club.

If he will not give me a written apology I want the club to do its duty and branch him.

If none of this is done I will take the matter to the courts and to head office.

Yours faithfully,

THIS INCIDENT
